Privacy Policy
This policy explains how R2C Games S.R.L. ("we", "us") handles personal data when you visit r2cgames.com, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Romanian data protection law.

What we do not do
- We do not set cookies or use local/session storage.
- We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking pixels.
- We do not embed third-party content (such as social media widgets); links to our social profiles are plain links that only open when you click them.
- We do not collect form data — there are no forms on this site.
- We do not use Google Fonts; web fonts are delivered through Bunny Fonts, a privacy-focused European service that does not track visitors, or served from this site itself (see “Fonts” below).
Because of this, no cookie consent banner is required.
Data processed automatically (server logs)
Like any website, when you load a page your browser transmits technical data that our hosting provider may record in server logs, including your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, and your browser/operating-system type. This is necessary to deliver the website and to maintain its security and stability.
- Purpose: delivering the site, security, troubleshooting.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: log data is kept only as long as needed for these purposes and is then deleted by the hosting provider.
Hosting
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service provided by GitHub, Inc. (United States). To deliver a page, GitHub receives connection data such as your IP address, and it logs the IP addresses of visitors to GitHub Pages sites to keep its service secure, whether or not you have a GitHub account. GitHub handles that data under its own privacy statement, and transfers personal data to the United States under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Fonts
Most of the site's typefaces are loaded from Bunny Fonts (fonts.bunny.net), a service operated by BunnyWay d.o.o. in the European Union. Bunny Fonts is a privacy-first alternative to Google Fonts: Bunny states that it runs the service on European systems, sets no cookies, keeps no logs of visitors, and uses their data only to deliver the font files. To serve a font, your browser connects to fonts.bunny.net, which necessarily receives your IP address for that single request. The pixel typeface on the Balkan Vice: Callatis page is served from this website itself, so loading it involves no third party.
- Purpose: displaying the site in its intended typefaces.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in consistent presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Bunny Fonts sets no cookies, so it does not need a cookie consent banner either.
When you email us
If you write to contact@r2cgames.com, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you put in your message. Messages are delivered to and stored by our email provider.
- Purpose: reading and answering your message, for example a press or partnership inquiry.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering the messages we receive (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where you ask about working with us, steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Retention: as long as the conversation and any follow-up need it; we then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Links to other websites
Links to our social media profiles, to game stores such as Steam and the Epic Games Store, and to our press kit open those sites only when you click them. From then on, that site's own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction or erasure of your data;
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability, where applicable;
- lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
Where we rely on our legitimate interests, you can object at any time (Art. 21 GDPR). We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
